4 Day/3 Night Tour from Marrakesh to Fez

Day 1:  Marrakesh to El Kelaa of M’gouna via The High Atlas Mountains

Depart Marrakesh and travel over the Tizi n'Tichka Pass while enjoying superb views of the High Atlas Mountains and of the Berber villages. You will have a chance to visit the  Atlas Film Studio. Stop for lunch and tour the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Aït Benhaddou which is located on a hill along Ouarzazate River. This glorious site of southern Moroccan architecture has been used as a backdrop for hundreds of  movies  including The Kingdom of Heaven, The Last Temptation of Christ , Alexander , Prince of Persia …. Overnight in Ouarzazate.

 Day 2: Driving from Ouarzazate to The Gorges.

After breakfast, you will drive through Valley (Valley of One Thousand Kasbahs) Later your destination will be towards  the El Kelaa of M'gouna (Valley of the Roses), where you will spend the night. Later, you will depart for Boumalne Gorges and  Todra Gorges. The latter is a canyon in the eastern part of the High
Atlas Mountains in Morocco, near the town of Tinerhir. Both the Todgha and neighbouring Dades Rivers have carved out cliff-sided canyons on their final 40 kilometres (25 mi) through the mountains. The last 600 metres (1,969 ft) of the Todgha gorges are the most spectacular. The long valley is lined with palmery and up on the rocks you may see the Nomad families tending sheep and goats. Probably, you will see  the eagles that nest in the Todra and other amazing birds. Lunch will be surved in the midway. Overnight in a traditional hotel close to the Gorges.

Day 3: From the Gorges to Sahara

 After breakfast, we will continue the way to Sahara, the largest desert  in the world , where you will camel trek into the beautiful Erg Chebbi Dunes. You will stay overnight   in a bivouac (camp), have a chance to taste a typical  berber  dinner, and sleep in traditional Nomad camel hair tent under millions of stars.

Day 4: From Sahara to Fez.


Wake-up to a spectacular sunrise in the desert and enjoy breakfast. Bivouac trekkers will escort you by camels, and you will carry on your journey to Fes via Ziz Valley Gorge and cedar forests where tame Barbary apes are still living – this is an interesting route along the Middel Atlas with a stop for lunch in Midelt. Drop off in Fes.
